The Group Role
Collaborate to create a visually appealing graphic with geometric transformations and discuss all of the information about the Fair Use Laws using the jigsaw classroom model we have used all year. Also, provide one example/scenario of a work that follows the Fair Use Laws and one example of a work that does not. Your group must use all four geometric transformations on the created graphic and each group member must use any two geometric transformations.
Read through the four group member roles, and as a group decide who will be each member:
Group Member 1: Present information on what Fair Use Law is and why it is important that students and the general public know about it.
Group Member 2: Present information on how you, or any student, who creates their own media can protect it when it is put online, and the conditions under which someone could use your work.
Group Member 2: Present information on how you, or any student, who creates their own media can protect it when it is put online, and the conditions under which someone could use your work.
Group Member 3: Present information on where to access Fair Use works and what's included in New Era Copyright (See Resource 2).
